Any tips is acceptable.

The key is to offer content that is so interesting that people want to visit your site.

Contact the Wall Street Journal and PC Magazine ( i don’t work for them and you can get them free at the library). They post lists of the most interesting websites. Once they mention your site, you will get discovered.

I blog and social bookmark everyday along with submitting to as many directories as possible. I don’t have the budget for a good PPC campaign, so I was wondering if there was a new or better way to drive traffic to my site. Something other than bought traffic too.

Video marketing with YouTube and other video sharing sites would be a good idea. But you will need really good videos that attract attention without being irrelevant to your site.

What is the best way to get traffic to your website? I have an art blog and my own portfolio site.

How did you get your site popular?

Affiliate programs and advertising Advertising on industry websites. Or more properly creating a pay per conversion/pay per click affiliate program with industry blogs and websites. This involves finding mainstream affiliate programs.

Pay Per Click Advertising: Mainstream pay per click via Google, MSN, Yahoo and others is very popular. Clicks can run as cheap as .20-.30 cents to get users on your site. Also you are targeting users when they search for your exact search terms.

Search Engine Optimization: Search engine optimization and link building. This is very popular, because it doesn’t require paying for traffic like pay per click methods.

Online Press Releases: Press releases are also an option. PR Newswire is expensive, but popular, if your product is unique and valuable. Some free and inexpensive methods are also available, but they will not probably have the long term value that a PR Newswire release will have.

Social networking, Join forums related to your Web site content, Seo keyword optimization, Create an account at Google webmaster tools, Google analytics (free) and review reports for key word usage, traffic stats, Google will also notify of any errors. Avoid using flash and java, search engine bots can’t read, use alt tags for images. Create Rss feed at Feedburner. Submit good quality articles to Article directories. Avoid linking to low PR sites. Submit your site to Yahoo - Site Explorer (free)

The best way for instant traffic is start a Pay Per Click campaign on any of the search engines. Google will drive the most traffic by far and the quality of traffic is good if ads are optimized right. You must budget for such a strategy and once you see ROI from PPC increase your budget so you can increase traffic and sales.

This site is designed by me and i want to enable adsense for this.. please help me how to increase free traffic to my website… thankyou

I am not even going to touch the idea of someone that is running a website that teaches others how to improve their site ranking etc coming here to ask this particular question.

I do have one piece of advice though, you may want to fix all the broken links and misspellings before you start trying to drive people to your site. No sense getting people to your site if it does not work or look professional.

Put the name of your website on a shirt and wear it around. Or make flyers and put them places like grocery stores or schools

How do I get more traffic to my website?

Posted by: admin   in traffic to website

I need a little help getting traffic to my website - it’s very slow going at the moment but not sure how to get more traffic without spending money - although willing to in the future, like with google adwords.

You need interesting content that people will want to read. That’s about it. If all you do is ramble about stupid stuff, then yeah, you’re not going to get much traffic. If you’re talking about current topics like health care reform, iPhone app reviews, etc., you will probably get more hits. The only problem there are a lot of websites that fill this niche–you need to find something that fills a niche that hasn’t been saturated yet.

How do I get more traffic to my website?

Well, I own this website called "tubeCash". It tells you how to make money, just by using the world’s largest media sharing site, YouTube. I used to drive traffic all the way from YouTube, but now I got one of the accounts banned… so there is no more traffic from there. How do I drive traffic to my website? I don’t need "quality" traffic, I just want people to visit the website.

I would look into Search Engine Optimization (SEO) … here are a few simple links to help you out.
