my website is getting about 2-3 views a day. sometimes none. and i have gotten into the habit of spamming my website at times. and i do not want that. how can i get people to see my website, for free? i already posted it on twitter and face-book. and i barely get any traffic there!

what can i do????

I’ve just about exhausted the internets supply of free links and submissions to online directories and i need some other ways in which i can increase my website traffic, we have a facebook, twitter and bebo, we are a web design agency but do a whole host of other things. Please help!

My first suggestion is to google "Organic SEO", these sites will give you ways to increase your keyword relevance so that your ranking is higher in google searches. Some tips include:

- Add the words to your site more often
- Make sure your keywords are in your meta title, meta description and meta keywords
- Make sure your keywords are in your headings <h1> would be the html code

Non-keyword tactics:
- Participate in forums
- Post press releases online (there are many free sites)

These will increase your "Google Ranking" as more sites are linking back to yours!

The best way to advertise your business happens to be free! When I say free I mean no cost, but it does take some work.

1) you need to make sure your website is optimized for search engines. If you want send me a link with your websites address and i can run some tests on it for you, then tell you what needs improvement. This is the step that has to be done because if your website is not optimized then search engines like google, yahoo or bing will never find you and either will anyone else.

2) If your website is promoting you business, set up a business listing on google.Set up a gmail acct and set up a profile so that your business shows up on the local business listings (maps).

3) Set up a facebook page for your business. If you dont already have a personal profile you will have to do that first then set up a business page. Alot of business owners do not take the power of facebook seriously and that is a huge mistake.

Ok so i have just created a website (buttonsbrand.webs.com) basically its a site to talk to friends at the moment and to sell friendship bracelets which im not that crazy to sell lol just there for anyone whos interested nd if not thats ok too…lol but how can i get more traffic?

There are several routes you could take to get more traffic to your site, although some tend to be more successful than others. Also, whilst some avenues are free, others will cost you money so you need to decide which you feel is most appropriate for what you are aiming to achieve.

1. You can set up some Google Adwords, Adsense, or pay-per-click campaigns and then pick relevant sites with Google ads to list them on. You will have running costs with these though which can get expensive pretty quickly.

4 - Create autoposts from your site to twitter / facebook
