What you’re doing is building inbound links, which work because, when search engines find all these links to your site, they figure you must be important and rank you higher than other sites. When you think of it that way, it’s obvious that there’s going to be lag time between your link-building activities and the accompanying increase in traffic.

You should keep all this up and trust the process. Meanwhile, take a look at your content and make sure people won’t be disappointed by what they find. No amount of link building will save a site that is scattered, disorganized or hard to use.

Writing tons and tons of articles sounds like alot of work but it’s not that hard. You can then use these as a base for your own articles. But don’t, and I repeat don’t just go copying and pasting PLR articles into article directories.Search engines like fresh content, and if your’e writing unique articles then they will be seen.

Cheap: Create a Google Adwords account, and do some research using their free keyword tool to identify long tail keyword phrase related to your website pages that have a low (0.05 - 0.10) cost per click (CPC). Bid on these keyword phrase, to obtain one of the fastest ways to get relevant traffic to your site.

I’d say if you comfortable with SEO go with free, if you’re not as comfortable go with cheap.
