How do I get website traffic?

I have a website that sells software. I would like to know in what ways can i get visitors and sales?

Please let me know everything you can think of.

There are a few different ways to attract people to your website, I will go over a few of the effective methods that do not cost to much to implement.

Pay-Per-Click (PPC)- PPC is a well known way to attract people to your website and you will also know they are targeted as well based on the words they searched to find your ad and click on it. With this method you are able to choose particular keywords that you want your ad to show up for and people can click the ad to visit your website based on the keywords they typed into the search engine.

Video Ads- Video on the Internet is becoming more and more popular, some estimates say that at least 40% of the website traffic online consist of video consumption.

Content Marketing - Create articles for the targeted market to read, they will read them and at the end of your article you will have a link back to your website which they can click to visit your website. This method is free and you also benefits from the search engine traffic as well because your articles can be listed in the major search engines.

Submit Your Websites Into Directories so people can find you.
